Things To Do In Herefordshire – Yew Tree House B&B

John and Sue have gathered together a library of useful information to help you enjoy your visit and are very happy to offer advice where needed.  There are so many things to do and see in Herefordshire and the surrounding areas that you’ll be spoilt for choice.

  • If you’re interested in History then the castles, cathedrals and churches of the area are a must.

  • The Cider Museum and Cider Trail show why the country is rightly famous for the wonders it can do with apples.

  • If it’s Walking you’re after, you will find  Offa’s Dyke Path, the Marches Way and the Herefordshire trail in easy reach. In addition there are also hundreds of miles of footpaths and together they offer a wonderful range of walks from the most strenuous to a gentle amble.  Maps and Guides are available.

  • Why not Canoe down the Wye?  Go with the flow downstream from Hay and enjoy the beauties of our river with very little effort.

  • Golfers can enjoy un-crowded courses with spectacular views and be only just over an hour from The Belfry in one direction and Celtic Manor in the other.
